Overview:
The Radius is a high-performance, sensitive soundboard pickup capable of reproducing the instrument’s true tone. Designed for mandolins, it can also be used on violins or any other instruments with a similar frequency range.

At the heart of the system is a balanced armature with a 0.01 mm-thick sensor film, similar to that of a microphone, suspended between two neodymium magnets. It can therefore respond instantly to the slightest nuance without artificial effects or coloration. The magnets are also adjusted to progressively dampen the sensor and respond naturally to the instrument’s dynamics. The frequency response is linear, smooth, and precise, with an incredibly natural, effortless sound.
The output level is powerful, allowing passive use without having to connect a preamp to an acoustic amplifier. However, if you wish to use a preamp, we recommend the high-performance Para Acoustic D.I LR Baggs.
Finally, unlike most pickups, the Radius can be positioned in multiple locations on the instrument without losing effectiveness.
