Product description
Legendary analog sound for recording your entire band

The Volt 876 USB Recording Studio gives producers the opportunity to acquire a next-generation 32-bit/192 kHz audio interface equipped with eight Vintage preamps and 1176-style compressors accessible directly from the front panel, so every instrument and microphone they connect delivers the big analog sound of professional studios.

The Volt 876 was designed by the same team behind the legendary Apollo interfaces and gives you everything that makes an integrated recording environment so powerful, including recall of all interface settings, recording on iPhone or iPad, a collection of award-winning UAD virtual instruments and effects, and the renowned LUNA digital audio workstation with intelligent recording features.

Key benefits

Enjoy incomparable analog sound with eight Vintage preamps and classic compressors inspired by the legendary 610 tube console and UA’s 1176 limiter.
Hear every detail of your recordings on your Mac, PC, iPad, or iPhone thanks to the professional 32-bit/192 kHz converters.
Use the UAD Console app to access Assistive Auto-Gain, recall all front-panel settings, and create two low-latency cue mixes with talkback.
Record with LUNA to recreate the analog sound of professional studios with unlimited tracks and use intelligent tools such as voice control, instrument detection, and tempo tracking.
Create your music with a suite of premium UAD virtual instruments and effects, including Teletronix LA-2A and UA 1176 compressors, Pultec equalizers, the PolyMAX Synth, the Showtime ’64 Guitar Amp, and more.
Expand your system by combining up to three Volt 876 interfaces or integrating Apollo interfaces and equipment equipped with ADAT connections.

Record your music in 32-bit with high-end audio converters
The Volt 876 was designed by the same team behind the innovative Apollo interface and will likewise revolutionize your music with its next-generation 32-bit/192 kHz converters. Its eight mic preamps and compressors will also let you record entire bands with a sonic character you won’t find on any other USB interface in its class.

Eight Vintage microphone preamps with legendary sound
If UA 610 tube microphone preamps have been used on albums by Ray Charles, Van Halen, and Adele, it’s because they deliver incomparable presence and warmth. You can now enjoy that same legendary sound on the Volt 876 by selecting Vintage mode, an exclusive UA emulation of the tube circuit that will make your sessions sound like they were recorded in a classic studio.

1176-style compressors for vocals, guitars, and more
The Volt 876’s eight built-in 76 compressors give you exceptional sonic presence and dynamics. These innovative analog circuits, inspired by UA’s legendary 1176 Limiting Amplifier, come with presets specifically designed for processing vocals, guitars, synths, and drums (Fast mode). Simply connect your instrument or microphone, choose a setting, and you’re ready to go.

Ultra-complete connectivity with 24 inputs and 28 outputs
The Volt 876 features 8 x 8 analog connections, allowing you to connect your microphones, instruments, and studio equipment, along with two front-panel mic/line inputs featuring an impedance (Hi-Z) switch for easy direct recording. And that’s not all! The ADAT I/O lets you daisy-chain up to three Volt 876 units to create a 24-channel recording system, or use the interface alongside an Apollo or other ADAT equipment.

Includes the UAD Producer Suite: premium effects and instruments
The Volt 876 comes with the UAD Producer Suite, a collection of premium UAD plug-ins that includes the Teletronix LA-2A and UA 1176 compressors, Pultec equalizers, the PolyMAX Synth, and the Showtime ’64 Guitar Amp. You’ll instantly gain access to the sounds of iconic studio equipment and inspiring instruments.

LUNA: where analog studio sound meets intelligent tools
The Volt 876 works with all major digital audio workstations on the market. But if you pair it with UA’s LUNA DAW, you’ll enjoy the exceptional sound of an analog studio along with powerful hardware/software integration, unlimited tracks, and AI-powered tools, including the “Hey Luna” voice control feature, instrument detection, and tempo tracking. You’ll see, recording with LUNA is incredibly easy.

Save and recall all your interface settings
With the UAD Console app or LUNA, the Volt 876 gives you ultra-convenient features, including Assistive Auto-Gain, which automatically adjusts your recording levels, as well as two low-latency cue mixes with talkback. You can also save the settings made on the front panel of the 876 and the cue mixes for instant recall later.

Record anywhere on your iPad or iPhone
Got a big session outside your studio? Connect the Volt 876 to your iPad or iPhone to easily create beats and samples, record your band’s rehearsals, and work on your tracks anywhere.
