Overview: Johnny Christ Signature Bassist of Avenged Sevenfold since the album Waking The Fallen (2003), Johnny Christ is the third member of the band to have his own Signature model at Schecter. He used the Stargazer shape as the basis for creating his Custom model, whose matte finish and gold hardware give it a classy yet rebellious look. The originality of this model lies in its electronics: an EMG humbucker in the bridge position for a modern, powerful bass sound, as well as an EMG81 pickup traditionally used in Metal guitars, designed to explore more aggressive distortion while retaining full, punchy low frequencies.
