The addition of PRS Narrowfield DD 'S' pickups provides plenty of power and musicality without hum, making this guitar exclusive to PRS.

PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) 'S' pickups are made with taller bobbins to accommodate more wire turns and additional metal pieces between the magnets for a powerful, precise sound. Like the US model, the "S" variant of these pickups offers defined lows and the biting, "twang" sound expected from this instrument – all in a hum-cancelling humbucker, allowing for high gain levels. Equipped with a volume control, a tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector, the SE NF 53 allows musicians to easily adjust their sound. Finally, the choice of a steel bridge with brass saddles further enhances the PRS SE NF 53's tone and resonance.
