The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo combines the power and stability of a solidbody electric guitar with the captivating resonance of a hollowbody instrument. The 58/15 LT 'S' pickups deliver clarity and balance, providing a powerful and musical tone on a hollowbody platform. Equipped with an LR Baggs/PRS piezo system, the SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo allows musicians to produce acoustic and electric sounds with a single instrument. The guitar is designed with two separate volume controls (magnetic and piezo) and two jack outputs (Mix/Piezo and magnetic). Musicians can plug into the Mix/Piezo output and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 LT 'S' pickups with the piezo's acoustic sounds. It is also possible to use the jack outputs separately, with the magnetic pickups plugged into an amplifier and the piezo connected to an acoustic amp or a DI into the mixing console. When using the magnetic output in isolation, the piezo battery is completely bypassed, which provides a safety feature (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups continue to function even if the piezo battery is dead).
