Our Fret Shield (patented) offers complete fingerboard protection on a 22-fret Gibson instrument, allowing you to polish the frets properly. This version is designed for Gibson electric guitar necks (Les Paul, ES-335, SG, etc.). It cannot be used on Gibson acoustic guitar necks. Say goodbye to masking tape and save time and money with this reusable protector, which installs in seconds, protects the fingerboard, and lasts for more than one hundred uses.

Made of stainless steel with a thickness of 0.20 mm. Its manufacturing process leaves no burrs or sharp edges, so it protects the fingerboard without damaging it. Its tapered design features slots that fit the first 12 frets (3.683 mm). The final 10 slots offer a more conventional width of 3.18 mm. Length from the first fret: 53.217 mm. Length of the last fret: 63.417 mm. Fits all types of frets (from narrow to jumbo) on 6- or 7-string guitars.

The Fret Shield is installed using an elastic band system for maximum security, without ever damaging the instrument’s finish. Thanks to this elastic band system, the Fret Shield also easily adapts to the fingerboard radius.
