The LH3 pickups (wound in our Chicago workshop) and onboard preamp are the same components found in our legendary USA 55-94 series. (Powered by a single 9-volt battery, easily replaceable by removing a simple snap-on battery cover—no screws to lose!) Internal switches allow you to select the boost/cut frequency for the midrange.

The neck has the same 35" scale, profile, and specifications as our USA 55-94 series, which has won over countless professionals with its excellent feel, string spacing, and above all, a B string with tight, punchy clarity that blends perfectly with the other four strings.
