The LH3 pickups (wound in our Chicago workshop) and onboard preamp are the same components found in our USA 44-94 series, powered by a single 9-volt battery that can be replaced by removing a simple snap-on battery cover (no screws to lose!). Internal switches allow you to select the midrange boost/cut frequency.

The neck profile is Lakland’s slim 1.6" profile, offering fast, smooth, and comfortable playability.
