The LH3 pickups (wound in our Chicago workshop) and built-in preamp are the same components found in our USA 44-94 series, powered by a single 9-volt battery that can be replaced by removing a simple clip-on battery cover (no screws to lose!). Internal switches let you select the boost/cut frequency of the midrange.

The neck profile is Lakland’s slim 1.6-inch profile, offering fast, smooth, and comfortable playability.
