New HT MK III Tube Amps: An inspiring journey from practice to performance!

The multi-award-winning HT range is one of Blackstar's best-selling tube amp series. Offering guitarists classic tube amp tones in a compact format, it has become a staple for everyone from beginners practicing at home to professional studio musicians. Blackstar's R&D team has leveraged decades of experience to create this new HT MK III series.
The HT-1R MK III, HT-5R MK III, and HT-20R MK III amps retain all the features that made the HT MKII series famous, plus CabRig, the world's first IR (Impulse Response)-based DSP speaker simulator. CabRig allows guitarists to access hundreds of cabinet, microphone, microphone placement, and room configurations. These settings can be saved and stored as 3 presets that can be recalled directly from the amp. An incredible selection of sound options for live or recording is at your disposal!
In addition to these cutting-edge new features, the HT MK III series boasts an attractive new look, inspired by high-end boutique amplifiers. The control panel is clean, with a sleek, seamless coating combined with classic 'chicken head' knobs and new piping. We've chosen new high-quality mini-switches, updated the LED color, and added a metal logo. Undoubtedly, the design of the new HT MK III amps lives up to their sonic performance!

What you can expect from the new HT MK III amps:

- Blackstar's patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF) control. Unique to Blackstar products, this control allows you to switch from an 'American' sounding amp to a classic 'British' sounding amp.
- Power Reduction: A switchable circuit is present on the HT-5R MK III and HT-20R MK III models and allows for transparent and effective attenuation, down to only 10% of the amplifier's rated power.
- CabRig: Our IR-based DSP simulator. Choose from hundreds of mic and cabinet combinations using the free software and store up to 3 CabRig presets directly in your amplifier.
- Professional recording via USB output: now USB-C, it's the easiest way to integrate tube amp sounds into your recordings.
- The innovative Clean channel offers the ultimate in quality and possibilities for clean sounds. It features a Voice switch: American Clean and British Clean.
- The rich and dynamic Overdrive channel has its own Voice switch: Classic Overdrive and Modern Overdrive. Hi Gain sounds are accurate and precise.
- All models feature four switchable voices via optional FS-22 and FS-16 footswitches. This makes a wide selection of tube sounds easily accessible.
- Line input for jamming or listening to music.
- Line output for silent practice or recording.
- The 'HT' stands for 'High Tension', the high voltage required for the tubes to reach their optimal sonic potential.
